Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has praised Afrobeats superstar Davido for his world-class performance at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Davido, the only Nigerian artist on this year's official lineup, utilized the global stage to celebrate his roots.

During his set on the Gobi Stage, Davido introduced his performance with a traditional Yoruba panegyric (oríkì) honoring Ede, his hometown in Osun State.
