"Leadership Should Not Embrace Fraud" — Dr. Moses Paul Challenges Nyesom Wike Over "Rigger" Label

Dr. Moses Paul of the ADC speaking during a live interview on Symfoni TV

Former African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Dr. Moses Paul, has expressed deep concern over the leadership style of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

Speaking on Symfoni TV on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the ADC chieftain stated that it is "deeply saddening" to see public officials appear comfortable with labels associated with election manipulation.

Dr. Paul argued that serious allegations of result forgery and fraud should never be treated lightly, as they tarnish Nigeria’s international democratic reputation.

Beyond election integrity, the activist accused the FCT administration of actively working to suppress opposition voices. He claimed his team has been repeatedly denied access to public venues, such as the Old Parade Ground, for legitimate political activities.

“When a government attempts to suppress different views, it signals a disconnect with the needs of the people,” Dr. Paul stated.

He warned that the space for dissenting opinions is shrinking rapidly in Abuja but noted that the recent successful ADC convention proves that Nigerians are determined to protect their democratic future.
