Cesc Fabregas Shuts Down Chelsea Links; Reaffirms Commitment to Como in Serie A
Former Chelsea midfielder and current Como manager Cesc Fabregas has officially distanced himself from the vacant managerial position at Stamford Bridge.
Following the sacking of Liam Rosenior, Fabregas emerged as a fan favorite to return to West London, especially after Como’s president, Mirwan Suwarso, hinted he would not block such a move.
However, speaking ahead of Como’s Serie A clash with Genoa, Fabregas dismissed the speculation as "stupid."
He clarified that his entire focus remains on his current chapter in Italy.
"Nothing to say about that... my focus is on the next game against Genoa. I believe I will continue my chapter as Como head coach,"
Fabregas stated, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
