Global Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has officially announced that her highly anticipated third studio album, titled ‘Starr Girl’, will arrive in July 2026.
The singer made the big reveal during a recent interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where she expressed deep pride in her latest project.
Fans have been waiting for news on a full-length project since Ayra began teasing new music last year.
During her television appearance, she described the album as a deeply personal body of work into which she "put everything."
“My album ‘Starr Girl’ drops in July… I’m so proud of this body of work. I put everything into it, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it,” the singer announced.
Ahead of the July launch, Ayra Starr performed her latest single, ‘Where Do We Go’. The track signals a notable evolution in her sound, leaning toward dancehall-infused pop as she targets the global music market.
This follows a string of successful 2025 hits, including ‘Hot Body’ and the Grammy-nominated ‘Gimme Dat’ featuring Wizkid.
