Anthony Joshua Warns Jake Paul: You’ll Be Fighting for Your Life!

Anthony Joshua warns Jake Paul after mocking knockout defeats

British-Nigerian boxing icon Anthony Joshua has sent a chilling warning to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul after being mocked over his past knockout losses.

According to The Sun, Jake Paul recently revealed that he privately trolled Joshua earlier this year about his past defeats. But what came next shocked him: Joshua responded with a fierce warning that hinted at a potential explosive showdown in the ring.

“He said, ‘I can’t wait to fight. You’re gonna be fighting for your life and you’ll know the feeling that I’ve gone through.’ Or something like that,” Paul disclosed during the interview with SunSport.

The tension between both fighters has added fuel to the growing speculation of a future mega-fight, especially with Jake Paul expressing interest in facing Joshua on UK soil. “My first fight was in England, it was rowdy. I loved it. 100,000 fans chanting ‘F*** Jake Paul’ would be fun,” he quipped.

While Joshua has not fought since suffering a knockout defeat to fellow Brit Daniel Dubois in September, he is currently recovering from elbow surgery. The 35-year-old, however, remains a major force in the heavyweight division.

Paul, on the other hand, is riding a wave of momentum after defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. via unanimous decision. The bout followed his controversial yet highly watched exhibition fight against Mike Tyson, which reportedly drew over 100 million viewers on Netflix.

Despite the criticism surrounding his crossover boxing journey, Paul appears determined to chase a world title opportunity. “It depends on how I’m ranked by the WBC or WBA,” Paul noted. “If I’m in a position to go for the title, we’ll go for it.”

As the boxing world watches closely, the clash of worlds—between an elite boxer and a celebrity disruptor—may be closer than ever.
