Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, a federal lawmaker from Zamfara, has exposed the extreme brutality of bandits, including an incident where newborn twins were fed to dogs. Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, Jaji recounted the horrific fate of a kidnapped woman’s babies and a boy with epilepsy executed by terrorists.
“The pregnant woman gave birth in captivity, but the bandits threw her twins to dogs,” Jaji revealed. In another case, a father was forced to surrender his epileptic son to save his family—the boy was shot dead.
Jaji warned of “total governance collapse” in Zamfara, where farming and daily life are paralyzed. “Our people are displaced, unrecognized by government, and helpless,” he said. Despite campaigning for President Tinubu on security promises, he admitted: “We’re failing our people.”
When asked about self-defense, Jaji cautioned against illegal arms but acknowledged citizens feel abandoned. His revelations follow escalating bandit attacks in Northern Nigeria.
