According to a statement by Lere Olayinka, those anticipating Wike’s political collapse, including Egwu, will “wait forever.” This sharp response followed Egwu’s remark suggesting Wike’s influence is fading and that he is “living on borrowed time.”
Olayinka didn’t hold back, labeling Egwu as a “spoon-fed politician” and credited Wike’s rise to personal diligence and divine grace. He stated, “Someone who mismanaged his political life will always live with the mindset that others will mismanage theirs too.”
