This decision translates to a final dividend of ₦4.00 per share, culminating in a total dividend of ₦5.00 per share for the 2024 financial year.
The bank's impressive financial performance underpins this generous dividend. In 2024, Zenith Bank reported a remarkable 86% growth in gross earnings, escalating from ₦2.13 trillion to ₦3.97 trillion.
This surge was primarily driven by a 138% increase in interest income, bolstered by investments in high-yield government securities and an expanded loan portfolio. Additionally, customer deposits grew by 45%, and total assets rose by 47%, reflecting the bank's robust market position and effective balance sheet management.
