Manchester United Extends Erik ten Hag's Tenure by Four Weeks Amid Performance Concerns

Manchester United is reportedly giving manager Erik ten Hag an additional four weeks to demonstrate his capability to lead the team, following a challenging start to the Premier League season. 

The club's executives, including Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Joel Glazer, are set to convene in London to discuss the situation. 

United currently sits 14th in the Premier League table after seven matches, marking their worst start since the competition's inception in 1992. 

The club is keen to avoid missing out on Champions League football for a second consecutive year, a scenario unprecedented since the tournament's rebranding. 

Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is considered a potential replacement if Ten Hag is unable to turn the team's performance around.
