Kano Anglican Women Donate Food and Essentials to Prison Inmates for Welfare Support

Kano Anglican Church women donate foodstuffs, clothing, and essentials to inmates, promoting rehabilitation and welfare at the Goron Dutse Custodial Centre.

The women’s wing of the Kano Anglican Church has extended their compassion by donating foodstuffs and essentials to inmates at the Goron Dutse Medium Security Custodial Centre. 

The donation, which included toiletries, clothing, and food, was presented as part of the church’s mission to support and improve the welfare of the inmates. 

Mrs. Edna Ezike, Chairperson of All Anglican Women, urged the prisoners to use their incarceration for self-reflection and make positive changes in their lives. 

The initiative aims to promote rehabilitation and reintegration through skill acquisition and encourage inmates to avoid returning to crime after release.
