Medical journals, wellness publications, and longevity research forums are processing intense global engagement following a landmark scientific review challenging modern high-protein dietary trends.
The topic is trending at the peak of health and science news following the publication of a sweeping review in Cell Press Blue led by researchers from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Analyzing over 350 clinical and animal studies, the researchers concluded that reducing overall protein intake (protein restriction) can significantly improve metabolic health, limit cellular damage, lower systemic inflammation, and activate longevity pathways linked to slower biological aging.
