Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested over 20 suspects during an early morning raid on a short-let apartment complex located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
The intelligence-driven operation took place at Mariton Apartments, situated on QMB Road in Ikate, Lekki. A senior EFCC official confirmed that investigators moved in following credible intelligence regarding suspected financial crimes within the facility.
During the raid, anti-graft officers conducted thorough searches across multiple apartments, questioned several occupants, and recovered physical items relevant to the ongoing investigation.
