President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has showered high praise on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, describing him as a stellar "man of action" and the primary operational engine driving the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The presidential commendation accompanied the colorful official commissioning ceremony of the newly remodeled, iconic Abuja City Gate structure.
The premium infrastructural transformation project, executed by engineering giants Julius Berger PLC, drew a distinguished audience comprising elite top government functionaries, members of the diplomatic corps, and administrative heads of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who proudly represented the President at the event, described the modernized city entryway as a fitting artistic monument that beautifully captures the pride, diversity, and shared structural aspirations of the Nigerian federation.
"When we look at a nation’s capital, it represents the heart of its people. Abuja is Nigeria’s diplomatic and administrative centre, where all the 36 states meet.
Therefore, our City Gate is one of the major first impressions of this city," the First Lady noted while delivering the President's official address.
President Tinubu strongly lauded Wike’s aggressive urban renewal policies, emphasizing that the ongoing massive road network expansions, flyover constructions, and rapid public utility restorations visible across the capital territory serve as clear proof of what happens when vision meets flawless operational execution.
