The ongoing controversy surrounding the fictitious "Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council" has taken a fresh turn as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, strongly defended the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Speaking in a live interview on TVC, Wike dismissed allegations linking Gbajabiamila to the fraudulent agency, describing the claims as a highly coordinated smear campaign.
Wike argued that in any administration, the Chief of Staff, the Minister of Finance, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) are always the primary targets for syndicates looking to destabilize and embarrass the government.
