Legendary Nigerian musician 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has officially dismissed social media speculation suggesting a romantic reconciliation with his ex-wife, actress Annie Idibia.
The viral rumors gained momentum after a video surfaced online showing the former couple dancing closely together, prompting widespread fan commentary across digital platforms.
Breaking his silence via his Instagram story, the iconic singer clarified that the trending clip was recorded years ago and does not represent their current relationship status.
His response followed a similar warning from Annie Idibia, who cautioned fans against taking social media posts at face value.
"Abeg nah old video o," 2Baba wrote on his Instagram story, putting an end to reconciliation rumors. Annie Idibia had earlier posted: "Believe everything u see on social media at ur expense."
The clarification comes approximately a year and a half after 2Baba publicly announced his separation from Annie, officially laying to rest the latest round of reunion claims generated by recirculated archival footage.
