However, he warned that desperate political adversaries are systematically weaponizing the nation's lingering security challenges to completely discredit the administration's modest governance successes.
To decisively crush the multi-regional infrastructure of kidnapping, banditry, and terrorism, Akinwande strongly proposed the immediate formation of "Regional Combatant Command Forces" across all six geopolitical zones.
Under this blueprint, each combatant team would integrate the military, police, DSS, and indigenous vigilantes under the operational command of a Brigadier General indigenous to that specific region.

He further advocated for robust whistleblowing monetary rewards, mass recruitment of mobile police and forest guards, and the deployment of at least three functional helicopters per geopolitical zone, financed via deductions from state security votes.
On the economic front, Akinwande warned the president to avoid the historical mistakes of the Second Republic—where President Shehu Shagari ignored the timely economic warnings of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, leading to the democratic collapse of 1983.
To provide immediate succor to suffering Nigerians, he urged President Tinubu to structurally slash the pump price of petrol to approximately N600 per litre by cutting down the price of crude oil supplied for domestic consumption to the Dangote Refinery.
