FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has delivered a scathing response to his detractors within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), dismissing their criticisms of his partnership with President Bola Tinubu.
During a project inspection in Abuja on Thursday, Wike characterized his alliance as "political realism," arguing that the PDP is currently too fractured to mount a credible presidential bid.
The minister didn't stop at political rivals; he also took aim at media organizations like Channels TV and AIT, accusing them of hypocrisy regarding land allocation.

“When you are living in a glass house, don’t throw stones. You were given land... why are you complaining now?” he queried.
He clarified that the government does not sell land but allocates it based on development agreements.
According to Qubes Magazine, Wike also announced a major breakthrough in urban planning: the relocation of the long-standing Apo Mechanic Village to a new, infrastructure-rich site in Wasa.
He noted that this move would solve traffic issues and create a streamlined tax system for informal businesses in the capital.
