The Ogun State Police Command has recorded a major breakthrough in the fight against violent crime with the arrest of three suspected armed robbers.
The suspects—Hammed Olarewaju, Adedokun Ayinde, and Adedokun Adewusi—were apprehended during intelligence-led operations by the Anti-Robbery Squad.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed that the arrests led to the recovery of several stolen vehicles, including a 2017 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport traced to Abuja and a Toyota Corolla recovered in Ibadan.
Detectives also seized two fabricated pistols used by the syndicate. Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni commended the team, stating that the command remains committed to ensuring criminal elements have "no safe haven" in Ogun State.
