The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has recorded a significant victory in its ongoing counter-terrorism campaign, successfully decimating multiple identified insurgent hideouts and critical logistics hubs at Biramiri within the Gezuwa general operational area of Borno State.
The high-impact tactical aerial assault was confirmed on Tuesday via a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.
According to the air force command, the coordinated airstrikes were launched following a series of highly accurate Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions that mapped out high-value terrorist facilities hidden along the dense fringes of the Sambisa axis.
The precision bombardments resulted in the total destruction of enemy storage installations and effectively neutralized several frontline terrorist fighters, drastically crippling their logistical and operational capacity in the North-East.

Air Commodore Ejodame noted that the sustained aerial offensive has created widespread panic, confusion, and disorientation within the ranks of the remaining insurgents, effectively denying them freedom of movement and safe sanctuary.
Working in close synergy with ground troops from the joint military task force, Operation Hadin Kai, the NAF reiterated its unwavering commitment to maintaining relentless tactical pressure until long-term security and peace are fully restored to the region.
