The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has formally handed over several stolen luxury vehicles to the Canadian government following a high-stakes international recovery operation.
The handover ceremony took place on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Tin Can Island Port in Lagos, where the Deputy High Commissioner of Canada to Nigeria, Nasser Salihou, received the fleet.
The recovered vehicles include a 2019 Lamborghini Huracán, a 2021 Rolls-Royce Dawn Convertible, a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador, and a 2026 Toyota Tundra, among others.

These high-end automobiles were traced to Canada and were illegally exported through international shipping channels before being intercepted by Nigerian authorities.
According to Qubes Magazine, the operation was the result of months of intelligence sharing between the NCS and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Comptroller Frank Onyeka revealed that some vehicles were cleverly concealed inside containers, but swift profiling allowed officers to isolate the suspicious consignments before they could exit customs control.
