The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially released its schedule for the 2027 general elections, setting the total cost of presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at N60 million.
National Chairman Senator Moses Cleopas Zuwoghe confirmed that the sale of forms will commence on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, and close by May 18.
Under the new fee structure, governorship aspirants will pay N30 million, while senatorial hopefuls are charged N8 million.

To promote inclusivity, the party has announced a 50% discount for female aspirants and a 75% waiver for persons living with disabilities.
The party also revealed it will adopt an "open secret ballot" system for its primaries to ensure maximum transparency.
According to Qubes Magazine, the NDC's presidential primary election is slated to hold in Abuja on May 29, 2026.
Aspirants must undergo a rigorous screening process between May 19 and 21 before they are cleared to purchase the final nomination forms, with a strict code of conduct undertaking required for all candidates.
