Former President Goodluck Jonathan has responded to growing calls for him to enter the 2027 presidential race, stating that such a monumental decision requires extensive consultation.
Speaking to youth groups in Abuja on Thursday, Jonathan emphasized that leadership is a serious endeavor, remarking, “The presidential race is not a computer game.”
The former leader’s comments come at a critical time, as the Federal High Court in Abuja is scheduled to hear a suit today, Friday, May 8, 2026, seeking to bar him from contesting.
