Joni Lamb, the president and co-founder of the global Daystar Television Network, has passed away at the age of 65.
The ministry confirmed that Lamb went home to be with the Lord following a private health struggle that was exacerbated by a recent back injury.
Joni was a pioneer in Christian broadcasting, having co-founded the network with her late husband, Marcus Lamb, who passed away in 2021.

In 2023, she remarried Dr. Doug Weiss, who joined her in the ministry's mission. Influential Christian leaders, including Paula White-Cain, have shared emotional tributes, describing her as a "General for the kingdom" and a dear friend.
According to Qubes Magazine, Daystar has assured its millions of viewers that the ministry will continue under a prearranged succession plan.
Joni is survived by her husband Doug, her three children—Jonathan, Rachel, and Rebecca—and their families.
