Arsenal have defied expectations to reach the 2026 Champions League final in Budapest, maintaining their status as the only unbeaten team left in the competition.

A first-half tap-in by Bukayo Saka on Tuesday night secured a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid, giving the Gunners a 2-1 aggregate victory and a ticket to their first European final since 2006.

The atmosphere at the Emirates was electric, with fans welcoming the team bus with flares—a first for the stadium.

Manager Mikel Arteta was visibly emotional after the match, stating, “We made history again together. I cannot be happier or prouder for everybody involved in this football club.”

Midfielder Declan Rice added that the team felt "something special building" throughout their quiet but ruthless campaign, which saw them defeat giants like Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.

This milestone comes at a crucial time as Arsenal also battles for the Premier League title.

According to Qubes Magazine, Manchester City’s recent draw at Everton has given Arsenal further momentum, potentially allowing them to secure a historic "Double" by mid-May. After 20 years, the North London side is finally back on Europe’s biggest stage.
