Rising Afrobeats star Qing Madi has launched a scathing attack on her former record label, JTon Music, and its founder, Joy Tongo.
In a series of social media posts on Tuesday, the 19-year-old singer alleged that the label is attempting to sabotage her career, drawing direct parallels to the controversial downfall of dancehall artist Cynthia Morgan.
Qing Madi revealed that the label previously sued her for $1 million—a case she claims they lost.

Despite the legal victory, the singer alleged that her former management recently took down her music from Spotify due to its success.
“Joy Tongo Leave me alone!!! Cynthia Morgan cried and was silenced. It won't happen with me,” the singer declared.
The "Ole" crooner expressed her frustration at being targeted at such a young age, stating she only wishes to focus on her music.
While JTon Music has yet to issue an official rebuttal, Qing Madi assured her fans that the affected tracks would be restored soon, promising that she would not be bullied into silence.
