Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has opened up on the "frustrating" second-half collapse that saw his side lose 3-0 to Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Goals from Jeremy Doku, Nico O’Reilly, and Marc Guehi secured a clinical victory for Pep Guardiola’s side, significantly reducing the gap at the top of the Premier League table.
Rosenior pointed to a disallowed goal from Marc Cucurella as a turning point but admitted that the Blues' reaction to going a goal down was unacceptable.
Chelsea looked organized in the first half but failed to maintain their defensive discipline as the game progressed.
“The reality now is there are too many times we go a goal down, and it’s quickly followed by another and that can’t happen,” Rosenior said during his post-match interview.
With this defeat, Chelsea remains in sixth position with 48 points from 32 games, while Manchester City successfully capitalizes on Arsenal's recent loss to Bournemouth to ignite the title race.
