Popular Nigerian actress and digital sensation Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, better known as Kiekie, has opened up about her strict policy regarding family privacy.
Speaking at the "Creative Blueprint 2.0" event, the comic star explained why her husband, Tunji Ilori, is rarely seen in her viral content, unlike many other celebrity couples who showcase their spouses for views.
Kiekie emphasized the importance of maintaining a "thick line" between her professional identity as an entertainer and her private life as a wife and mother.
She noted that while her brand is built on comedy and hosting, her personal life belongs to her alone.
As reported during her session at the creative summit, Kiekie humorously admitted that her husband simply doesn't fit the "comic" requirements of her brand.
“I have created a very thick line between what is personal to me as Oluwabukunmi Adeaga Ilori and what is personal to my brand as Kiekie. I don't use my husband for content because he is not funny,” she explained.
While her daughter, Nola, occasionally appears on her page because she is "made for the camera," Kiekie stressed that even that has limits.
She only involves her child during school breaks to avoid overexposure.
The actress cautioned fellow creators against "overmilking" viral moments and family life, warning that oversharing can quickly become annoying to the audience.
