The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, that it successfully targeted and destroyed two critical naval cruise missile production sites in Tehran.
The facilities, operating under the Iranian Ministry of Defence, were reportedly responsible for the development of advanced, long-range weapons capable of hitting targets both at sea and on land.
The strikes are part of Operation Roaring Lion, a broader Israeli military campaign aimed at dismantling Iran’s high-tech military manufacturing capabilities.
According to the IDF, these specific sites were vital for the production of cruise missiles used to threaten maritime security and regional stability.
“In recent days, the Israeli Air Force, acting on precise IDF intelligence, struck two key naval cruise missile production sites in Tehran. These strikes represent another step in deepening the damage to the regime’s military production infrastructure,” the IDF stated in an official release.
