Socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has openly declared his intention to work against Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election.
The declaration came during an Instagram exchange with followers. When a user asked directly, "So in simple terms, You are working against Obi in the upcoming presidential election. lol," Chief Priest confirmed without hesitation.
"Yes oh hope say no be crime cuz I worked for Obi last election even as special adviser to an APC governor," he responded, citing his past role in Obi's campaign as the basis for his current opposition.
His comment sparked reactions, with one user referencing his past encounter with the EFCC. Chief Priest downplayed the concern, replying, "If you never go EFCC for naija you never make am."
The discussion also veered into Biafra and South-East political support. When challenged, Chief Priest directed a user to support their preferred candidate and questioned their contributions to regional development.
"Go and support who you want to support as you like Biafra reach how many developments you don do for south East," he wrote.
The socialite, who was recently appointed Imo State Director of the pro-Tinubu City Boy Movement, has become increasingly vocal in his political alignments. His shift from supporting Obi in 2023 to actively opposing him in 2027 reflects the fluid political realignments ahead of the next general election.
