Kingsley Coman in transfer talks from Bayern Munich to Al Nassr

Bayern Munich are reportedly close to finalising the sale of French winger Kingsley Coman to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, with the final transfer fee still under negotiation.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs of GiveMeSport, both clubs have reached an agreement in principle on a fee in the region of £25 million (€28.9 million). The report was supported by updates from football outlet @iMiaSanMia, but contradicted earlier claims from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk.

Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg added that negotiations remain ongoing, with Bayern Munich holding out for around €35 million. A full agreement is expected within the next 24 to 48 hours if talks proceed smoothly.

Personal terms have reportedly been agreed between Coman and Al Nassr, with the player set to earn double his current salary under a contract running until 2028. For Bayern, the sale would remove Coman’s €17 million annual wage from their books over the next two years, freeing up funds to strengthen the squad.

The Bavarian club are already eyeing potential replacements, with VfB Stuttgart star Nick Woltemade emerging as a possible target. Bayern’s management, led by sporting director Max Eberl, is expected to remain active in the transfer market as they look to balance outgoing and incoming moves before the window closes.

Coman, 29, joined Bayern from Juventus in 2015 and has been instrumental in the club’s domestic and European successes, including scoring the winning goal in the 2020 UEFA Champions League final. However, injuries and competition for places have seen his role diminish in recent seasons.

The move to Al Nassr would reunite him with high-profile names in the Saudi Pro League and mark another significant addition for the club as they continue their aggressive recruitment strategy.
