Ola Aina Signs 3-Year Deal with Nottingham Forest, Vows to Deliver More Magic

Ola Aina signs new contract with Nottingham Forest until 2028

Nigerian defender Ola Aina has sealed his future at Nottingham Forest after signing a three-year contract extension with the Premier League club, keeping him at the City Ground until 2028.

The 28-year-old, who joined Forest two seasons ago on a free transfer, has quickly become a fan favorite for his solid performances and versatile play. Last season, Aina featured predominantly as a right-back, scoring two goals and providing one assist as Forest finished in seventh position under coach Nuno Espírito Santo.

“It’s always felt like a home ever since I joined and I’m happy to be here. Now my focus is on preparing for the new season well and getting back to hard work,” Aina said in an interview with the club’s official website.

His contributions on the pitch didn’t go unnoticed, as he picked up both a Player of the Month award and a Goal of the Month honor during the campaign. Aina’s dynamic runs, defensive awareness, and attacking instincts have been key assets for Forest, helping them maintain a competitive edge in England’s top flight.

Having made 59 appearances across all competitions since joining the Reds, Aina’s extension is seen as a major boost to the club’s ambitions for the upcoming season.

Forest fans will be hoping that his renewed commitment signals another strong campaign ahead, as the team looks to improve on last season’s performance and push for European qualification.

With the new contract in place, Aina now turns his focus to pre-season preparations and further cementing his role as a core figure in Forest’s squad.
