The Lagos State Police Command has launched a full-scale investigation into the disappearance of a young boy, Master Ovie Kehinde, following the emergence of a heart-wrenching viral video showing his distraught mother pleading for help.

According to a statement issued on Monday by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has directed a thorough and discreet investigation into the case.
"CP Jimoh has tasked the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Yaba, with leading the probe," Hundeyin said. "All tactical units, police divisions, and area commands in Lagos and neighboring states have been alerted and mobilized to support efforts in finding the missing child."
