A tragic incident occurred in Aba, Abia State, on Wednesday, May 28, as a massive billboard collapsed on several tricycles during a heavy downpour. 

The unfortunate event happened at the Salad Market junction, near the GIA Event Centre, shocking residents and leaving many in panic.

Eyewitnesses reported that the billboard came crashing down on tricycles—locally known as keke napep—which were carrying passengers at the time. 

Disturbing video footage from the scene shows locals screaming and calling for help, with one woman heard saying, “People are de@d, people don kpai for here finish.”
