Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has etched his name into Premier League history by achieving 45 goal contributions in a single 38-game season, surpassing the previous record of 44 held by Thierry Henry and Erling Haaland.

In a thrilling 2-1 victory over West Ham at Anfield, Salah provided his 18th assist of the season, setting up Luis Díaz's opening goal. Coupled with his 27 goals, Salah's performance has been instrumental in Liverpool's pursuit of their 20th league title, now leading Arsenal by 13 points with six matches remaining.

This milestone comes shortly after Salah signed a new two-year contract with Liverpool, extending his stay until 2027. Teammate Virgil van Dijk, who scored the winning goal against West Ham, is also expected to renew his contract.

Salah's exceptional form positions him as a strong contender for the European Golden Shoe, highlighting his status as one of the world's elite footballers.
