Four Children Abducted by Female Tenants in Delta State's Ogwashi Uku Community

The Ogwashi Uku community in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State is in turmoil following the abduction of four young girls by three women who had recently rented accommodation in the area.

The victims include six-year-old Ebube Nwafido, her three-year-old sister Miracle, seven-year-old Chimanda, and five-year-old Excel, also known as Tinubu. The women allegedly lured the children under the pretense of buying them biscuits from a local supermarket.

Prior to the incident, the women had approached Mrs. Bose Nwafido seeking assistance in finding accommodation. One of them feigned illness to gain access to the family's premises. After establishing trust, they disappeared with the children. The parents are devastated, and the police have confirmed the abduction, stating that investigations are ongoing.
