Karen Igho Accuses Husband of Abuse Amid Divorce Battle, Appeals for Public Support

Karen Igho, winner of the 2011 Big Brother Africa reality TV show, has publicly revealed her ongoing marital struggles, accusing her husband, Yaroslav Rakos, of physical and sexual abuse. 

The couple, who married in 2014 after a nine-year relationship, share two children. 

In a series of posts on social media platform X, Igho disclosed the emotional and physical torment she has endured, alleging that Rakos is attempting to take custody of their children by falsely claiming she is mentally unstable.

Igho, who is now residing in the United States, expressed fear for her safety, asking the public to hold her husband accountable should any harm come to her. 

She vehemently denied Rakos’ claims about her mental health, appealing for prayers from Africans worldwide. “I have been through so much this past year. 

If you don’t hear from me, know that I’ve been killed. I am not mentally unstable,” she wrote.

As of now, Yaroslav Rakos has not responded to these allegations.
