Tens of thousands of Israelis took to the streets of Tel Aviv on Sunday night, blocking major highways in a powerful demonstration demanding a ceasefire with Hamas. 

This rally follows the tragic discovery of six more Israeli hostages dead in Gaza, escalating public frustration and grief.

The protest, one of the largest in nearly a year of conflict, calls for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to negotiate a ceasefire to ensure the safe return of remaining captives. 

The Histadrut trade union has amplified the pressure by initiating a general strike, disrupting key sectors like banking, healthcare, and aviation.

While Netanyahu faces criticism for his handling of the negotiations, his strategy for a “total victory” against Hamas continues to receive significant support. 

In Jerusalem, protesters gathered outside Netanyahu’s office, and in Tel Aviv, relatives of the hostages marched with coffins, emphasizing the urgency for a resolution.
