The Ministry of Health in Malawi reports positive responses from children to the malaria vaccine being piloted in the country.
Minister Khumbize Chiponda praised the vaccine's effectiveness in reducing malaria cases among children, particularly in the 5-10 age group, during her visit to Ntcheu District Hospital.
Funded by the World Health Organization, the pilot program began in 2019 and has significantly lowered child mortality rates.
Minister Chiponda stressed the government's commitment to protecting children from malaria and improving overall health outcomes.
