Suspected kidnappers have abducted Christiana Idowu, a 300-level student from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, while she was traveling along the Ikorodu-Yaba Road in Lagos.

The abductors are reportedly demanding a N3 million ransom for her release. Christiana was on her way to the University of Lagos for her industrial training when the incident occurred.

The family, who initially paid N350,000 after negotiations, reports that the kidnappers have not yet released her and continue to demand more money.

Authorities are involved, and the family has called on the government and the public for assistance in securing her safe return.
