D’Tigress Ready to Take on Opals at Paris 2024

Nigeria’s D’Tigress will face Australia’s Opals in their opening game of the Women’s Basketball Tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

 The team, coached by Rena Wakama, hopes to secure their first Olympic win in 20 years. 

Key players include star forward Amy Okonkwo, MVP of the FIBA Women’s Afrobasket 2023, and returning leader Ezinne Kalu. 

The team also relies on strong performances from Elizabeth Balogun, Promise Amukamara, Murjanatu Musa, and Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpannah. Despite tough competition, D’Tigress aims to make a significant impact.
