Former Labour Party Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, has launched a sharp rebuttal against supporters of Peter Obi, popularly known as "Obidients," warning that he possesses more damaging disclosures regarding Peter Obi and the 2023 general election.
Speaking during an interview with Symfoni TV, Datti Baba-Ahmed expressed frustration at the wave of online criticism directed at him whenever he offers critical assessments of his former running mate's political maneuvers.
The strain escalated in recent weeks after Datti openly criticized Obi’s exploratory talks regarding a potential opposition coalition with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other parties.
Datti rejected allegations from online commentators accusing him of betraying Obi or working on behalf of opposition figures like Atiku Abubakar.
Asserting his ongoing commitment to the Labour Party, he maintained that supporters who attack him lack an understanding of the behind-the-scenes dynamics of the 2023 campaign, promising to set the record straight if the hostility persists.
"Obidients are always eager to attack me. I have more damaging things to reveal. You attack me because I told you the truth about Peter Obi." — Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed
