Nigerian street-pop artist Bella Shmurda has shared a personal story from his early days in Okoko, Lagos, revealing that he once stole a neighbour's son's bicycle and sold it for ₦7,000 to fund his first studio recording session.
Reflecting on his journey before his breakout rise in 2019, the singer explained that extreme financial hardship drove him to make a desperate decision he later deeply regretted.
Bella revealed that after achieving commercial success in the Nigerian music industry, he tracked down the owner to buy him a brand-new bicycle to make amends and come to terms with his past struggles.
