Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has declared a comprehensive vote-tracking campaign for the 2027 Nigerian presidential election, pledging to monitor ballot movement continuously from local polling units to the national collation center in Abuja.
Appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, September 11, 2026, Yesufu stated that lessons learned from the 2023 elections necessitate strict surveillance across ward, local government, state, and federal levels.
She emphasized that citizens and observers will utilize every mode of transport—including motorcycles, boats, and aircraft—to ensure election materials remain in public view throughout the collation process.
"There is no time that any ballot paper, ballot box, result sheet, or individual will be out of our sight. We will follow them using bikes, boats, or by air." — Aisha Yesufu
