Afrobeats star David Adeleke (Davido) has denied reports alleging that his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, or his entourage were targeted during a shooting incident outside the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji.
The confrontation, which occurred shortly after the governor's courtesy visit to the monarch, involved an exchange of gunfire between local security personnel and suspected hoodlums.
Writing on his official X account, Davido clarified that the clash was a separate disturbance outside the palace grounds and had no connection to the visiting executive team.
