Simultaneously, a 12-year-old minor known as Zainab remains under the specialized care of the command's Gender Unit.
The systemic unraveling of the trafficking pipeline began following the dramatic escape of the 16-year-old victim, who had been deceptively lured from her father's home in the Okonron area of Adamo, Ikorodu, in late January 2026.
The minor was trafficked through Ghana before arriving in Libya in February 2026, where she was subjected to forced prostitution. She managed to bravely escape her captors, arriving back on Nigerian soil on May 27, 2026.

Following actionable intelligence, tactical operatives raided a residential fortress in Adamo on June 1, 2026. While the primary suspect, a notorious local woman identified as Tosin Moses (alias "Aunty Tosin"), evaded immediate capture and remains heavily wanted, police successfully apprehended her mother, also named Zainab.
