Afrobeats superstar Davido set to be honored at the Black Music Walk of Fame in Atlanta



Afrobeats legend Davido is set to receive one of the highest honors in the industry with his upcoming induction into the 2026 Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Organizers officially announced the "Unavailable" crooner as the Summer 2026 honoree, praising him as a global force who has bridged the gap between African heritage and international mainstream success.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for June 1, 2026, and will take place outside the iconic Mercedes-Benz Stadium along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Davido, born David Adeleke, will be honored alongside American rap veteran Ludacris. 

The selection committee cited Davido’s infectious hits, philanthropic efforts, and entrepreneurial spirit as pivotal factors in his selection.

According to Qubes Magazine, this recognition follows a stellar year for Davido, who has dominated global charts with tracks like "Feel" and "With You" while earning multiple Grammy nominations. 

The Walk of Fame induction cements his status as a pioneer who continues to inspire a new generation of artists worldwide.
