Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has signaled his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election under a new banner, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The party confirmed on Saturday that Atiku officially received his payment receipt for the ₦90 million nomination form on May 8, 2026.
The ADC described the development as a "new chapter in Nigeria’s democratic journey," positioning the party as a credible alternative for national recovery and security.
