Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Mercy Atang has taken the spotlight at the 12th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) after her "bread-inspired" gown caught the eye of Guinness World Records (GWR).
The reality star, who graced the red carpet in an outfit crafted to look like stacked loaves of bread, shared a screenshot of GWR commenting: “Well, we do have a record for the largest cake dress… hmmm.”
Queen, who owns a bakery brand, explained that the creative ensemble was a strategic celebration of her status as a "bread entrepreneur."

Currently, the record for the largest wearable cake dress stands at 131.15kg, set in Switzerland in 2023.
According to Qubes Magazine, the buzz surrounding the outfit has led Queen to pen an open letter to MultiChoice and Africa Magic.
She is proposing the creation of an "AMVCA Nigerian Entrepreneurs Night" to provide a dedicated platform for business owners to showcase their creativity and impact.
