The ongoing debate over the performance of Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has sparked a heated exchange between popular influencer Tunde Ednut and human rights activist Omoyele Sowore.

The clash began after Sowore released a viral video dismissing the governor’s developmental strides in Aba as mere "half-transformation."

Sowore, who recently visited the commercial hub for a protest, argued that the praise for Governor Otti was exaggerated.

As reported by Daily post, the pro-democracy campaigner stated that while some parts of Aba showed signs of improvement, many areas remained untouched, adding that he "doesn't believe in half transformation."

Reacting swiftly via his Instagram page, Tunde Ednut accused the activist of having a perpetually negative outlook and questioned his true agenda for Nigeria.

“Me I no come understand Sowore again. Nobody good for him eye? Okay, who come good for Nigeria like this?” Ednut queried, suggesting that Sowore rarely finds anything positive to say about public officials.

The influencer's defense of the Abia State Governor reflects a broader sentiment among many residents who have lauded Otti’s infrastructure projects in the state.
