Napoli manager Antonio Conte has officially set his sights on the Serie A Scudetto following a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Cagliari on Matchday 30.

The win marks Napoli’s fourth consecutive victory, allowing them to head into the international break with significant momentum.

Conte highlighted the importance of keeping a clean sheet—their first in 11 games—noting that Cagliari failed to register a single shot on target.

However, the tactician remained critical of his team's clinical edge, urging his players to be "more ruthless" in front of goal to avoid late-game scrambles.

“No one should stop us from looking ahead; today we’ve put a bit of pressure on those ahead of us,” Conte stated. “We’re keeping an eye on those ahead of us [Inter], but we’re not getting ahead of ourselves.”

Conte also discussed the tactical evolution of his midfield, specifically the "double playmaker" setup involving the likes of McTominay, De Bruyne, and Lobotka.

He explained that while the system offers higher passing quality, the team must balance it with the physicality provided by players like Anguissa.

With key players like Rrahmani and Di Lorenzo working toward full fitness, Conte believes Napoli is perfectly positioned for the final stretch of the season.
